We’re asked this question quite often, and 99% of the time, the answer is, “Yes.”
As long as your theme uses WordPress’ wp_link_pages function, PLP will play nicely with your theme.
The wp_link_pages function (Codex) is the preferred, best-practices WordPress pagination function, and theme authors usually place it in the single.php template. It might appear elsewhere, but as long as your theme contains that function, Page-Links Plus will work for you.
Page-Links Plus also works with the depreciated link_pages function (Codex), but theme authors and users should swap it out for the wp_link_pages function whenever possible.
To ensure PLP will work with their preferred theme(s) before purchase, demo users can also upload and activate their own WP theme(s).
Here’s how. (You can also review this page at the WP Codex.)
